ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The local Chevrolet dealership pays $300 to a graduating student with 25 credits in the automotive area and a final Advanced Automotives Theory mark of 80 per cent or better, who shows leadership, deals well with the public and has an excellent attendance record.
This is the most demanding of the four automotive awards on paper, because it sets both a credit count and a mark. Dealing effectively with the public is a stated criterion, which suits a student already working a service counter.
