Worth knowing

There is no application. The senior welding instructor selects the winner. The 100 credit requirement is higher than the 28 credit load most of the handbook asks for, so check your credit total early. An apprenticeship placement counts equally with a college seat. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year. Apprenticeship is one option, not mandatory.

About this scholarship

LeDuc Developments pays $500 to a student with 100 high school credits who is entering an apprenticeship or a related institutional programme such as Welding Technology at SAIT, and who shows good attendance, cooperation, diligence and the ability to work alone and with others.
