Worth knowing

Applications run October 1 to February 1 at 11:59pm Pacific, and Kin Canada calls that date firm. You cannot win this twice, so it is worth timing against your other February deadlines.

What you'll need

  • An online form. A question left blank scores 0, so answer them all.
  • Questions on your community involvement and what you know about Kin
  • Winners show proof of citizenship and registration before the money is paid

About this scholarship

Kin Canada awards $1,000 bursaries from the Hal Rogers Endowment Fund. You apply once through Kin Canada's national form, then your nearest Kinsmen, Kinette or Kin Club endorses one applicant and forwards it to the Board of Trustees. Selection weighs community and school involvement, what you know about Kin Canada, and financial need.
