Marvin Ruff Scholarship

One award of $500 for a graduate entering post-secondary study or a trade, with preference given to an agricultural field. It is one of the few on the list that names a trade and a degree in the same breath.

An apprenticeship counts here. If your trade has an agricultural side, say so, because that is where the preference sits. One Google Form covers every in-house award at Wetaskiwin Composite. You tick the awards you want to be considered for, write one paragraph on why, and that paragraph is judged against all of them at once. The 2026 form closed June 6 and winners were told by email or text in September, so watch the school's post-secondary page for the next one in the spring.
