Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club Bob and Jean Spencer Scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship from the Central Alberta Vintage Auto Club for a graduating student entering automotive body or mechanical work. You need at least fifteen credits already earned in that field and either a place in an automotive pre-employment programme at an Alberta post-secondary institution or an apprenticeship already arranged.

The fifteen credit requirement is the one that stops people, and it has to be in the automotive field specifically, evidenced by a transcript. At least one letter of reference is required. The application asks what car you would most like to work on, so the club is reading for genuine enthusiasm rather than marks. The 2026 deadline was May 29.
