Worth knowing

Narrower than the main Horatio Alger trades stream and much smaller, with only three awards. Your program has to be a certificate or diploma in business administration, construction trades, engineering, graphic design, manufacturing, production or welding, or sales and marketing. Otherwise the requirements match, with high school finished by July 1, household net income of $80,000 or less, under 35, Canadian citizen or permanent resident, open in every province and territory. Applied for on the same VTE application, so there is no cost to being considered for both. The 2026 round has closed. Applicants must live in Canada. The $80,000 household income limit is annual net income. Registered apprenticeship not mandatory. You must study at a public or not-for-profit institution. Students enrolled in prerequisite courses do not qualify.
