Worth knowing

It runs alongside the PCL award in the same programme but judges the opposite thing. Where PCL wants employability, this one wants a student whose marks climbed and whose money is tight. Apply for both. You must be in the school welding program, with no apprenticeship requirement.

How the Bev Facey awards form works

Bev Facey runs one online form for every in-house award. You tick the ones you qualify for and attach a written or video submission saying why. A staff committee decides. The 2026 form opened March 16 and closed April 7, so watch for it in mid-March.

10 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

An award for a student in the welding programme at Bev Facey who has demonstrated financial need and shown significant improvement in overall achievement during high school. The value is set by the sponsor each year.
