Unifor National and Regional Council Scholarships

One application to Unifor puts you in the running for 23 named entrance scholarships, awarded to members and children of members starting their first year of full-time post-secondary study.

One form, 23 named awards behind it, including the Bob White, Buzz Hargrove, Nelson Mandela, Rosemary Brown and Truth and Reconciliation scholarships. You must be a Unifor member or the child of a member in good standing, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, and entering your FIRST year of full-time study at a public institution in Canada; these are entrance awards and are not renewable. Children of members also submit a transcript and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal or community activist. Quebec residents apply through a separate Quebec Council process. Unifor has not published the award value on its scholarship page, so no amount is claimed here. The 2026 cycle has closed and Unifor's own page says to check back in March 2027 for the awards covering September 2027 entry. Verified against unifor.org on 2026-09-08.
