Worth knowing

You apply with the school's general application form, due at the main office in the last week of June. Earlier handbooks listed a Town of Okotoks academic award for the runner up. The current one rewards volunteering and citizenship instead, and marks are not part of the criteria. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year.

About this scholarship

The Town of Okotoks gives $1,000 to a graduating student who shows ambition in leadership through volunteer activities, or who models excellent citizenship at school or in the community.
