ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Okotoks Legion offers two scholarships to graduating students from either Foothills Composite or Holy Trinity Academy who have been accepted into a recognised professional, technological, trade or other approved programme starting within a year of graduation.
The handbook lists the number of awards but not their value, so ask the branch or student services what it has paid recently. Academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, community involvement, work experience and citizenship are all weighed together.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
