ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $500 award for a graduating grade 12 student from a public high school in Okotoks who perseveres to overcome adversity and challenges in daily life affecting mental, emotional or physical wellbeing.
Volunteer experience is listed as an asset rather than a requirement. Awards that name mental and emotional wellbeing explicitly are still uncommon, so the field here is smaller than the value suggests.
