Worth knowing
There is no application. Any staff member can nominate a student, and the scholarship committee selects the winner. The criteria are joined by and slash or rather than and, so meeting a single one of the three routes is enough. Proof of post-secondary enrolment is the only hard requirement. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year. Post-secondary study is normally required, but a student with an exceptionality who cannot pursue that study may receive funding for equipment, training or supplies.
About this scholarship
