Worth knowing

Applicants must have completed or be completing the Grade 10, 11 and 12 CTS Mechanics program. It covers mechanics trades and is not limited to exactly the three named programs.

How the Brooks Composite awards form works

Brooks Composite High School collects these applications, not the sponsors, on a Google Doc only Grasslands students can open. The handbook publishes no closing dates, so ask the BCHS office in the fall.

17 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

A $1,000 scholarship in memory of Ryder Ferguson, who would have graduated in June 2026. It supports a graduating Grade 12 student who shows dedication to hands-on work and technical skill and wants to build a future in the Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or Agricultural Service Technician programs. The three named programs are the eligibility, so this is not a general trades award.

How to apply

1 Ask your guidance counsellor how your school handles this award.
2 Ask for the school deadline too. It is often earlier than the one listed here.

Email me when the date is posted

We send one link to confirm, then an email when a confirmed deadline is posted and reminders before it closes.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
