Worth knowing

Submitted to Student Services at BCHS by May 15, not to the sponsor. Your application has to include at least one letter from a BCHS staff member supporting your enthusiasm for the trades, and the name of the program you are entering. Jimmy Bonora's wife and two children choose the recipient.

About this scholarship

A single $1,000 award in memory of Jimmy Bonora, a BCHS graduate who apprenticed with his father as an electrician and went on to run Mario's Electric in Brooks. It goes to a Grade 12 student showing a positive attitude, motivation and dedication to a trades education. The one hard requirement is enrolment. You must be in, or able to prove you are entering, a certified trades program in Canada.
