Applications go through your Grasslands school. The application is publicly readable and gives June 15, 2026 as the previous deadline, with no 2027 deadline confirmed.
About this scholarship
Five scholarships of $1,000 each go every year to Grasslands Public Schools Grade 12 students who are enrolled in, or can prove enrolment in, a certified trades program in Canada. Preference goes to students engaged in dual credit trades programming or CTS trades programming. Pat Zukowski was a Grasslands graduate, a welder, and for four decades a co-owner of an oilfield construction company. He was worried about the shrinking number of tradespeople locally, and five awards a year is a deliberately wide net.
