Grade 12 students who live in rural Mountain View County
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Mountain View County gives a $1,250 citizenship award to one Grade 12 student at each of the six high schools that serve the county. It recognizes students who contribute to their community.
The awards run through the high schools, so ask your counsellor rather than the county. Judges look at extracurriculars, initiative, attitude toward school and community, leadership, volunteer work and good marks. You must be a rural resident of the county, not a town resident. The county contact is its Community Outreach Coordinator at 403-335-3311 ext 125.

2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
