Worth knowing
There is no application. The scholarship committee selects the winner with the academic teachers. The second criterion says the recipient should be a student who is seldom in the limelight, which is close to a disqualification for the obvious candidates. Nothing about marks appears in the criteria at all. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year. Selection also considers students who seldom receive public recognition.
