A Foothills Composite student with rural and agricultural involvement
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

A $500 memorial award for a student showing rural leadership or strong community and school involvement in organisations such as the 4-H Program of Alberta, with farm involvement, agriculture related work experience, participation in agricultural programmes, and on track to graduate.

Being on track for graduation is the only academic requirement, so this rewards the farm and 4-H record rather than the transcript. Agricultural work experience counts alongside the club involvement.
