Worth knowing

Being on track for graduation is the only academic requirement, so this rewards the farm and 4-H record, not the transcript. Agricultural work experience counts alongside the club involvement. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year.

About this scholarship

A $1,000 memorial award for a student showing rural leadership or strong community and school involvement in organisations such as the 4-H Program of Alberta, with farm involvement, agriculture related work experience, participation in agricultural programmes, and on track to graduate.
