Worth knowing

The age window runs to 24, so this stays open for years after Grade 12 rather than closing at graduation. Trade school counts alongside college and university. The 2026 round has closed. You must study at a college, university or trade school in Canada.

About this scholarship

A $10,000 award for students entering college, university or trade school who have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian carrying little or no life insurance. Manulife describes it as the first Life Lessons program in Canada.
