How the EducationMatters application works

One EducationMatters application covers every CBE and Calgary Catholic award. It opens March 1, and most awards close May 30, a few May 1. Every one has three rules: you must be 20 or younger on September 1, not yet in post-secondary, and applying in your Grade 12 year. Once you leave high school you can no longer apply, so a gap year is fine only if you applied before you graduated.

116 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

Open to students in Grade 12 who are enrolled in an appropriate program of study at Bowness High School and successfully graduate from the high school program. Applicants must have attained a GPA of not less than 65% during their final year of high school. To claim the award, recipients must enter a program of at least two years leading to a diploma, certificate or ticket; degree programs may also be considered.

Email me when it opens

What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
