ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Twelve or more awards of $4,000, two at each eligible school. One application is considered for both the Owen Hart Foundation Awards and, for Lord Beaverbrook students, the Jonathan Victor Trueman Memorial Awards, which recognise athletic achievement and artistic achievement in creative writing.

Eligibility is by school, not by board: Forest Lawn, Western Canada, Ernest Manning, Crescent Heights, Sir Winston Churchill and Lord Beaverbrook. You need a 70% average or acceptance to post-secondary on entry requirements, and preference goes to students holding part-time work. The provider had not posted a date for the new cycle when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last cycle's deadline rolled forward. Confirm before you plan around it.
