Rural Kneehill County residents starting their first year of post-secondary
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Kneehill County Council gives two $2,000 scholarships each year to rural residents entering their first full-time year at a university, college or trade school.

Councillors choose the winners: the essay counts for half the mark, reference letters for a quarter, and school or community contributions for the last quarter. The 2026 applications are closed and the county has not posted the next date. Past rounds closed around the end of August, so check the page in early summer after Grade 12.
