Independent Order of Oddfellows Scholarship

One award of $500 from the Wetaskiwin Oddfellows lodge for a graduate entering what the school calls the human care field. That covers nursing, social work, education, child and youth care and the helping professions generally rather than a single named programme.

Human care is not defined tightly on the form, so say plainly in your paragraph how your programme puts you in front of people who need help. You tick the awards you want to be considered for, write one paragraph on why, and that paragraph is judged against all of them at once. The 2026 form closed June 6 and winners were told by email or text in September, so watch the school's post-secondary page for the next one in the spring.
