Worth knowing

Without Art 30 on your transcript you are out, whatever your portfolio looks like. Check that before you tick it. Applicants must have completed Art 30, and post-secondary art study is preferred, followed by other fine arts study.

How the Wetaskiwin Composite awards form works

One Google Form covers every in-house award at Wetaskiwin Composite. You tick the awards you want, write one paragraph on why, and that paragraph is judged against all of them. The 2026 form closed June 6 and winners were told by email or text in September. Watch the school's post-secondary page for the next one in the spring.

23 awards listed here go through it.

About this scholarship

One award of $250 from the Sons of Norway for a graduate of Art 30 entering a post-secondary art programme, with a fine arts programme accepted as a second choice. Art 30 is a hard requirement, not a preference.

What we keep
