SCHOLARSHIP COMMUNITY DEADLINE TBA

Elizabeth Spychka Citizenship Scholarship

SPRUCE GROVE
WHO CAN APPLY
Memorial Composite graduates with a 70 to 79.5% average

Funded by the family of Elizabeth Spychka and built on the same band as the division citizenship scholarships: a weighted average of 70 to 79.5% across grade 12, good citizenship, no other major school-based award, and enrolment at a post-secondary institution. The one thing it adds is a preference for students involved in high school graduation in some capacity, so work on the grad committee counts here in a way it does not elsewhere.

Memorial Composite marks this one as needing an application in the spring of Semester 2 and publishes no calendar date for it. Its own award list also says sponsorship and amounts are subject to change, so confirm both with the school before counting on the figure.
