ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Funded by the Stony Plain Lions Club together with the Lions of Alberta Foundation, and presented to a student who demonstrates a commitment to humanitarian causes and exhibits the Lions service-oriented philosophy by actively volunteering in their community. It is the larger of the two Stony Plain Lions awards and the one aimed at sustained service rather than at personal improvement.
Memorial Composite marks this one as needing an application in the spring of Semester 2 and publishes no calendar date for it. Its own award list also says sponsorship and amounts are subject to change, so confirm both with the school before counting on the figure.
