ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded each year by the Constituency of Spruce Grove-Stony Plain to the graduating student who best demonstrates a commitment to social activism. The criteria ask for something ongoing, action oriented, showing leadership, and resulting in greater awareness of a social issue within the school or the community. A single event will not read well here; a campaign you kept going will.
Memorial Composite does not asterisk this one, which in its award list means there is no separate application to file; the school selects from the students in front of it. Making sure the department knows you want it is the step that is actually available to you.
