The Co-op's page sets the deadline as July 31 of each year, so this repeats annually. Your family has to be a member in good standing and have bought at least $2,000 from the Co-op in the current fiscal year, so check with whoever holds the membership before you write the essay.
About this scholarship
South Country Co-op gives $1,000 to a student from a member family graduating from a high school in its trading area. You need proof of acceptance and paid registration at a post-secondary institution, a 500 word essay on your community involvement, and two or more reference letters about it.
