Education Foundation Servant Leader Scholarship
Who can apply: Graduating students at Medicine Hat Catholic schools
How you apply: You can't apply yourself. Someone nominates you, so tell them you want to be considered.
Amount and deadline
Date confirmed on the provider's page, Aug 2026.
Worth knowing
The application is more work than most awards this size: a cover letter, applicant information, two typed essays on Biblical servant leadership and how your own life demonstrates it, and a reference form that asks someone to rate you on initiative, communication, leadership, influence, character, reliability, cooperation and servanthood. Your principal proposes you first. Documents go to the McCoy Awards Committee by June 15 and decisions come by September 30.
About this scholarship
The Medicine Hat Catholic Education Foundation looks for a student who consistently shows a servant's heart together with the ability to lead others in a service-oriented way. Volunteering in a school, church, mission or social setting all counts. The Foundation may split the money between more than one applicant, but the total cannot exceed $500 in a year.
