Senator Patrick Burns Legacy Scholarship

The Burns Memorial Fund scholarship for Calgary students who are graduating by June, living on a low income, and heading to post-secondary in September.

The fund does not publish a fixed closing date or a fixed value, and both the number of awards and the amounts change year to year. The application asks for grade 10 to 12 transcripts, a letter about your plans, financial documents and a counsellor referral form, so it takes longer to assemble than most.
