Burns Memorial Fund High School Bursary Program

A living allowance for Calgary grade 12 students whose finances are getting in the way of finishing, covering everyday costs like rent, food and transportation rather than tuition.

Unusually, the money is paid while you are still in high school rather than after it, and attendance and marks are checked every month. You need a referral from your school counsellor and an interview with the Grants Manager, so start with Student Services rather than the form. Applications close April 30 each year.
