Worth knowing

Twelve awards, and the draw is what makes this one worth the fifteen minutes. If more eligible students apply than there are scholarships, the recipients are picked at random rather than ranked, so a middling transcript costs you nothing. One application per student. Winners are announced at the June council meeting.

About this scholarship

The Calgary Catholic Teachers' Association, ATA Local 55, funds these from its own members' fees, and the parent connection is the hard requirement. Your parent must be an active Local 55 certificated teacher.
