ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Calgary Catholic Teachers' Association, ATA Local 55, sponsors scholarships for district students every year, funded by the teachers themselves in the same way Edmonton Catholic's Local 54 and Rocky View's Local 35 fund theirs.
The district names the programme but publishes neither the number of awards nor their value. Its counterparts in other divisions are worth up to $1,000 each, so it is worth asking Student Services rather than assuming it is small.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
