Worth knowing
Retired counts only after 20 years with the service, or at any length of service if the officer left on a disability. Full-time means at least three credit courses. Late applications are refused, so apply by the June date even if you have not settled on a school or a program yet. The first application must be made before the 25th birthday, and all funding must be completed by age 30.
About this scholarship
The Calgary Police Service counterpart to the Fire Fund grant, funded by the same bequest and paying the children of officers toward post-secondary study.
