About this scholarship
Pembina Hills School Division gives nine $500 citizenship awards to Grade 12 students each year: two at Barrhead Composite, two at R.F. Staples, two for Vista Virtual School primary students, and one each at Barrhead Outreach, Swan Hills School and Westlock Outreach. Your application shows how you meet at least three criteria such as responsibility, helping others, honesty, kindness and dependability.
Worth knowing
Apply online or on paper; the division says to check your school handbook or ask your principal for the deadline. Each school's selection committee picks its winners, and a trustee presents the award at the school's ceremony.
