ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Funded by the alumni of the old red brick Fort High and written for a student registered at a post-secondary institution who exemplified hard work without necessarily having top marks, has overcome some adversity, and is in financial need. All three parts of that are unusual to see stated so plainly, and together they describe a student most award criteria quietly exclude.
All of Fort High's internal awards ride on one checklist form filed with Student Services, and you tick every award you want on the same sheet and write how you meet each one. The date on the form is a bare June 1 with no year, so it repeats.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before June 1, 2027.
