Worth knowing

If nobody takes it in a given year the amount rolls into the following year's award, so the value moves. There is no application. The mark selects the winner. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year.

About this scholarship

The Okotoks and District Historical Society funds this from the interest earned on a bond it bought for the purpose, and it goes to the graduating student with the highest Social Studies 30-1 mark.

Email me when the date is posted

We send one link to confirm, then an email when a confirmed deadline is posted and reminders before it closes.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
