A Foothills Composite business education student who works while studying
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Sobeys pays $500 to a student in the Business Education Program with average standing in Information Processing or Computer Programming, work experience in a commercial enterprise while attending school, regular attendance, good work habits and a grade 12 average of at least 60 per cent.

The threshold is the lowest in the handbook, and the criteria ask for average standing rather than excellence. Holding down a job while in school is the distinguishing requirement, which most award pages treat as a distraction.
