L.G. Hanna Memorial Award
Named for Lewis Gerald Hanna, whose motto was never give up, this award measures diligence rather than ranking. The school looks for a student who achieves to the best of their ability, has taken part in extracurricular activities throughout high school, and shows initiative in bringing others along with them.
Staff nominate for this one, so there is no form to chase, and it may be split between more than one student in a year, which is why the value is quoted as a ceiling rather than a fixed sum. Students who have overcome adversity get particular attention.
