ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association gives awards to students in grades 6 through 12 who have been in Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Program continuously since Grade 4. Achievement is recognised across academics, leadership, community service, sports, culture, writing, dance and music, and applications are taken online from July 1.
The association does not publish the individual amounts or a closing date, only that applications open July 1. It has given 3,195 awards worth $400,450 since 1990, so the typical award is a few hundred dollars rather than a tuition cheque.
