Leduc County Agricultural Service Board Bursary
Five bursaries of $1,000 each go every year to post-secondary students in an agriculture-related program. You have to be a Leduc County resident or the child of one, and the application is a form, proof of acceptance such as an acceptance letter or course registration, and a 500-word essay on your future aspirations and how your education supports them. Greater consideration goes to applicants who have not received it before, so it is worth applying in a year when you think the field is strong.
The county's page gives a mailing and email route for this one but prints no closing date, unlike the two scholarships beside it. Ask Agricultural Services in Nisku for the current date rather than assuming it shares their October 31.
