A rural Alberta graduate beginning agricultural study
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $500 award for an Alberta resident who has completed high school at a rural Alberta high school, has demonstrated scholastic achievement and community service, and is about to begin study in agriculture at any post-secondary institution in the province.
It appears in the Foothills Composite handbook but the criteria reach every rural high school in the province, so students well outside the Foothills region are eligible. Scholastic achievement and community service are weighed together rather than one gating the other.
HOW TO APPLY

2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
