ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

A plaque at graduation and $250 in the fall for the student with the second highest average, ranked on exactly the same course list as the valedictorian award. The Students' Union pays for it.

The LCHS awards program is for that year's graduates, and where no current graduate applies the school may consider graduates of earlier years. Grade 10 and 11 applicants need 35 credits earned at LCHS; grade 12 applicants need 20. The school also says payment is at the sponsor's discretion.

2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
