ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

The Lacombe Kinsmen sponsor entries to the Kin Canada bursary, worth $500 locally and $1,000 nationally. Applicants are judged on school and community involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need, and must be registering full time in university, college, trade school or a technical institute.

Applications are made through kincanada.ca and the window runs October 1 to February 1, which is far earlier than the rest of the Lacombe awards.

HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before February 1, 2027.
