Wolf Creek Public Schools Scholarship

Six of these $300 awards are set aside for Lacombe alone, out of twenty across the division, given for contribution to school affairs, personal attributes and community involvement. The eligibility is unusual and worth reading: students who qualify for the Rutherford Scholarship in grade 12 cannot apply, which makes this one deliberately aimed at students whose marks fall below the Rutherford line.

Six are available at Lacombe. The award is paid once the student enrols at a post-secondary institution within twelve months. Deadlines are set by each school's scholarship committee; the Lacombe page gives June 15.
