Lacombe Composite graduates writing on emergency preparedness

One $1,000 award a year to a Lacombe Composite graduate, decided by a committee of the Lacombe County Mutual Aid Organization. Applicants write an essay of 800 to 1,000 words on emergency preparedness and must be registered at a recognised Alberta institution in a program of at least one year. Preference goes to students studying something related to emergency services, or connected to a member of Lacombe County Emergency Services.

Applications and supporting documents go to the Lacombe County office by 3:30pm, not to the school, and this is the earliest deadline in the Lacombe set.

2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before March 31, 2027.
