About this scholarship
A $750 character award, and the sponsor says it is not for high academic achievement. It recognises students who have come through mental health struggles, physical disability, discrimination, financial hardship or family problems and still graduated, whether they go on to post-secondary, trades, online learning or the military. A student prevented from studying further by physical or medical limits can be nominated for a $750 cash award instead, to spend on equipment, training or supplies.
