Funding of up to $20,000 a year for First Nations students in college or university, training and trades, or cultural learning, requiring First Nation membership or status and a valid social insurance number.
Worth knowing
Twenty thousand a year puts this among the largest awards a First Nations student in Alberta can apply for, and cultural learning counts as a stream alongside academic study. You must turn 18 during the calendar year. The 2026 round closed in June.
