Indspire Building Brighter Futures Bursaries and Scholarships

There is one application for almost all of Indspire's funding, and it is the single most important thing to know here. The named corporate awards you see elsewhere, such as the AltaLink Indigenous Student Awards, the Syncrude Indigenous Engineering Scholarship and the TD, Suncor and Rogers funds, are sub-funds inside this one application rather than separate programs with their own forms. Applying once considers you for every fund you match, so do not go hunting for individual application pages that do not exist. There are three deadlines a year, August 1, November 1 and February 1, all at 11:59 p.m. Eastern, and you can apply for the September to August academic year. Indspire awarded over $33 million to more than 9,500 students in its most recent year, but it says plainly it cannot fund every applicant, so apply at the earliest deadline you can meet. Wherever possible the money is unrestricted and can go to tuition, childcare, food, cultural support, shelter or travel.
