For the graduate with the highest average across English 30-1 or 30-2, Social Studies 30 and French 30, at 80 per cent or better, who is enrolled in a full year university schedule. School-based grade 12 marks are what count.

There is a cascade worth knowing: if the top student also wins a local award over $1,000, this passes to the next highest average instead, so a strong second place is genuinely in play. A tie splits the money.
