ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Two awards of $750 from Dave Jones, a long-time Lloydminster resident whose own schooling was cut short by the Depression and the war. Selection weighs effort, diligence and personal sacrifice in finishing grade 12 alongside marks, and financial need here is measured specifically by how much other local scholarship money you have already been given. Apprentices registered and working full time in a designated trade are eligible on the same footing.
One form covers every LPSD award. You complete the General LPSD Scholarship Application in the Google Classroom, code an2eroz, by May 1, and tick this award on the LCHS organizer sheet rather than applying to the sponsor.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before May 1, 2027.
